We offer comprehensive information technology support to faculty, staff, and administration in the College of Agricultural Sciences, from computer leasing or purchasing to IT consultation, training, and on-line course development.  

Vista Implementation

Information Technologies staff are researching the new operating system, Microsoft Vista, and the optimum time to deploy it for our users. We are continuing to test Vista, determine its impact on network, training, and support needs, and work with the university to assure maximum compatibility with users before announcing a release date. When it is deployed, we will support both XP and Vista for a realistic transition period. Watch this space for further information.

Anti-Spam aiding college e-mail users

IT Staff have been testing a Ninja Global Rule to try to eliminate Spam emails that appear to be coming from a psu.edu address. This rule should reduce the number of Spam emails delivered to your Inbox.  We have completed testing and implemented the rule on Wednesday, January 30th.
