Log on to ANGEL and Access Group


ANGEL is a course management tool used by Penn State. This How To will help you log on to ANGEL. Your supervisor or instructor will help you decide which group in ANGEL you'll need to access.

 



Logon to ANGEL
  1. Open Internet Explorer to http://angel.psu.edu/
  2. If you receive any security warnings, click OK.

    Note: On March 6, 2006, ITS implemented the use of WebAccess on ANGEL.The WebAccess logon makes it more convenient to use multiple secure Web sites, because individuals can logon just once to have access to multiple enrolled Web sites. You know need to select your account type from the pull-down list, then click "Log On." The default choice is Penn State Access Account. This should be what College staff will choose.

  3. Click the Log on button.
  4. At the WebAccess screen, enter your Username and password (used for email).
  5. Click Login.

Select the Appropriate Group
  1. Once you have logged into ANGEL, you need to select the appropriate group under My Groups heading. Depending on how much you use ANGEL as a collaboration tool, you may have many groups to choose from.
