The Ag IT Computer Unit supports several databases to assist county staff in managing their programs at the local level. Click on a title to switch to that program.



Show Programs


  • Horse Performance Show

    The Horse Performance Show is a tool for use by counties in managing the local Horse and Pony Shows and to electronically send entries to the district and/or state Horse Performance Shows.


  • Horse Production Show
    The Horse Production database is a tool for use by counties to send electronic entries to the Regional Horse Production Shows as well as by counties managing the Regional Production Shows.

  • Junior Dairy Show
    The Junior Dairy Show database is a tool for use by counties in managing the local Junior Dairy Show and to electronically send entries to the district and/or state Junior Dairy Shows.

  • Livestock Show and Sale
    The Livestock Show and Sale program is a tool for use by counties in managing the local Livestock Show and Sale. With it you may prepare the show catalog, print invoices, track animals from weigh in to sale, and print checks.

4-H Youth


  • Youth Development Enrollment Program
    The YDEP database is a 4-H enrollment management tool for use by county staff to track 4-H membership, programming and leadership.

  • Youth Development Annual Report
    The Youth Development Annual Report is an additional module for Youth Development Enrollment Program. It serves as set of databases for end-of-year reporting.

General Office


  • Mailing List
    The Mailing List database is a tool for use by county staff to manage and track their mailing lists and to prepare and print mailing labels.

  • Horticulture Resource Tracker (HoRT Book)
    The Horticultural Resources Tracker (HoRT Book) is designed to help extension agents and Master Gardeners answer horticulture-related questions from consumers and businesses. The HoRT Book contains over 700 references to resources from the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences and other well-regarded sources, and includes fact sheets from both the Entomology and Plant Pathology Departments.

  • Financial Records
    The Financial Records database is a management tool for use by county staff to track income from a variety of sources and account for expenditures using a variety of accounts.

  • NASS Files
    The Mailing List database is a tool for use by county staff to manage and track their mailing lists and to prepare and print mailing labels.
